Production Introduction
Glass fiber geogrid are flexible reinforcement materials made of high-modulus fiberglass yarns that are joined together by a special weaving process to form an open mesh structure.
Production Property
The glass fiber geogrid has high tensile strength and low elongation, which can effectively control the stress distribution of the road surface and roadbed, thus extending the service life of the road. Its main uses include as a stress release layer in asphalt overlays to prevent the formation of reflective cracks. In addition, fiberglass gegrates are capable of absorbing continuous loads, such as those caused by soil expansion tension stress or temperature-induced joint movement.
Production Application
Glass fiber geogrid can be placed at different locations in the new asphalt mix overlay, such as the bottom, two-thirds of the way or in the middle, to optimize their effect. This material is not only suitable for the asphalt concrete overlay reinforcement of roads, highways, Bridges and parking lots, but also can be used for the construction of cement concrete pavement.
